Contact us
Email [email protected]. We aim to reply within two business days.
To help us answer on the first reply, please include:
- the venue name, and the table or room if you scanned a code there
- roughly when it happened, with your timezone
- your order reference if you have one, or a screenshot of what you saw
- your device and OS version (for example “iPhone 15, iOS 18.2”)
Who fixes what
This matters, because sending the wrong problem to the wrong place is the main reason people wait.
- The venue — anything about a specific order, a bill, a refund, food, service, or how long something is taking. The venue holds the order and the money; we cannot change either on their behalf. Ask a staff member, or call the venue directly.
- ScanPlz — the app or menu will not load, a QR code will not scan, the page is broken or shows the wrong venue, sign-in or your ScanPlz account, notifications, or anything about your personal data.
Common problems
A QR code will not scan
Clean the camera lens, hold roughly 15–20 cm away, and make sure the whole code is inside the frame with reasonable light. If it still fails, the code may be damaged or replaced — ask staff for a fresh one.
The menu shows the wrong venue
Your browser may be holding an earlier scan. Scan the current code again; that replaces the stored venue. If it persists, clear the site data for scanplz.com and rescan.
My order has not arrived
Speak to venue staff — they see the order the moment it is placed. ScanPlz cannot prepare, cancel or refund an order.
I want my data removed
See Delete your account to remove a ScanPlz account and its data, or Delete your data if you used the storefront without an account.
Accessibility
If something here is unusable with a screen reader, keyboard, or at a larger text size, tell us at [email protected] and say which assistive technology you use. We treat those as defects, not feature requests.
Security
To report a vulnerability, email [email protected] with “security” in the subject. Please give us reasonable time to fix an issue before disclosing it publicly, and do not access or modify data that is not yours while testing.
